Jay Goldstein graduated the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1968 , received post-graduate training at the University of Florida Medical Center and Brooks School of Aerospace Medicine. He worked in primary care and emergency medicine for several years prior to serving as NJ State Commissioner of Health. He has served on numerous healthcare Boards and Councils including being the immediate past president of the Monmouth-Ocean Medical Society.
